Patience is truly a Virtue. As it allows the Truth to surface in full bloom before our eyes….the truth will always set us free when we have the courage to own who and what we are in the Light of Christ. When we seek to ground the ideals that rest as our foundation and mission for being here in this body at this time we are given the keys to our own inner prisons and set free from the illusions of fear that have driven us to become what we are not. When we find the strength of pure love in our own hearts we can then show others their own light and together we are moved forward as a community, as a nation, as a new world built and sustained on mutual respect, personal integrity, and the authentic peace of absolute truth. The world is small, so the personal honor of your word goes a long way in making amends. Patience shows us how we are connected in love and war. Yet, war has no place in a new society that opens the doors to transparency. We are what we are in our own naked truth. And, we will die as we have lived, for good and evil take their own rewards. One of burning pain, one of the sweet mercy of Our Lord. Patience makes everything clear to the human eye. The soul intention comes to bear on the heart of heaviness, kindness, darkness, or light. Our biography becomes our biology…..as the body never lies…it holds every truth inside. Be you radiant in glory, dear child of God. You are loved and you are light. This I know. This I trust. Faith be your guide. Angels be with you today as you make decisions to change your ways. Love is eternal. Love is yours. Forever. Amen.
“it’s one thing to sit there and ascend to a place where life doesn’t hurt.it’s quite another to live in the depths and try to find the value in being human. we are a spirit in a body with a deep soul for a reason.to feel it. to live it.to own it. use the pain to create art and transcend the darkness through a greater awareness of what it means to be human and connected. access your internal beauty and authentic radiance by learning how to Love through it all.”~sst
a youtube reviewer had this to say, “this song is genius because every listener wants to fill the blanks with their own truths-whether it’s disposing of a stillborn, rape or tossing out a ring. It’s a brilliant narrative=-you feel the grinding poverty, the suffocating summer heat of the delta farms. You hear the weariness in the voices, the unitentional cruelties and all the while you know the narrator has to hide her shock and pretend she isn’t devasted. Her haunting delivery cemets It as classic southern gothic story telling.”
Let’s give a big happy birthday to Ms. Roberta Lee Streeter, born on this day in 1944. “Professionally known as Bobbie Gentry a former American singer-songwriter notable as one of the first female country artists to write and produce her own material.”-[source: wikipedia]
Here is Shelby, a few years back doing one of Gentry’s classics…, Ode To Billie Joe on the Crag Kilborn show
I believe the greatest success a man….or woman can ever achieve, is knowing without a doubt, that they are loved and seen for who they really really are. that’s the greatest gift we give…and the greatest gift we are given. pure honest love. ~sst
“I think a man and a woman should choose each other for life, for the simple reason that a long life with all its accidents is barely enough time for a man and a woman to understand each other and to understand one another… is to love.” William Butler Yeats
”Love makes the soul dance and the body soar to its greatest potential in being human. It is not mind over matter that moves us from stagnation but the pure essence of love that builds the ark of hope for dreams fulfilled with honor and integrity of soul.”~sst
